Amanda Ledieu - RYT200 In 2012 I went to Present Moment Retreat to attend the 200hr yoga teacher training. I did not however go with the intention of pursuing a yoga career, I was purely seeking a retreat. I was searching for a place that would offer healing, relaxation and nourishing food. I stumbled across the 21 day retreat while on google and after researching it and reading the reviews on Trip Advisor, I committed. That turned out to be one of the best decisions of my life.
2 years have passed since my life changing adventure and now I would like to invite you to join me at this beautiful place of peace, healing and serenity. You will experience soul rejuvenation just by being present. The incredible sounds of the ocean rolling into the shore will soothe you to sleep while you breathe in the fresh air in the safe comfort of the open air bungalows.
I believe in the healing powers of yoga through movement as well as incorporating the philosophy into your every day life. By keeping a deep connection to our thoughts, our words and our emotions we can stay in touch with the deepest part of ourselves thus allowing continued healing on and off our mats. We are all unique and as such we should all be honored this way, yoga is about loving your body, making peace with what is and sending gratitude for all.
I would be honored to share this place of healing with you in November. Please message me with any questions.
Namaste, Amanda
Shelley Reid- RYT200
I first started practicing Yoga to improve my posture. If my body morphed into a tall, slender, flexible creature, that would be OK too.More than 10 years later, still waiting on the body, but have found something much more precious … self-love.
I received my200 RYT certification in 2012 in the beautiful space that is Present Moment Retreat. As well, I am one of the first English speakers, in the world, certified to teach The Isha System, a powerful personal growth system.
I am passionate about sharing the gift of yoga and meditation, as I love the way I feel, before, during and after practice. An even bigger rush, for me, is thinking I might have something to do with bringing, peace and joy to others.
My favorite teachers have made me laugh and made me cry, and more importantly they made me believe “I could do it”.I strive to honour these teachers by encouraging others to see their own greatness, and hope we can have some fun along the way.
